Hi my name’s Becky and i’m from the suburbs of Chicago but I belong in the city
I don’t like high school and I think too much
I’m passionate about film and music
I’m trying to make something of myself and I’m learning how to deal with life and sadness and emotions and horrible things.
I play piano for myself because I quit lessons after 6 years, and I like making music because It helps me cope with things sometimes.
My favorite bands are:
The Wonder Years, La Dispute, Touche Amore, August Burns Red, The Ghost Inside, Balance & Composure, Brand New, Defeater, Seahaven, Stick To Your Guns, Transit, Lydia, City & Colour, and Explosions in the Sky
My favorite TV shows are:
Portlandia, It’s always sunny in Philadelphia, Family Guy, Workaholics, South Park, Curb Your Enthusiasm, 30 Rock, SNL.
and I like to read a lot, my favorite books are:
Fahrenheit 451, Girl, Interrupted, Ordinary People, Everything Is Illuminated, Da Vinci code, Perks of being a wallflower, It’s kind of a funny story, and Sherlock Holmes
I would tell you my favorite movies but I find something excellent in just about every movie, and I have a favorite in each genre but I’ll tell you that Stanley Kubrick, Judd Apatow, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Guy Ritchie and Chris Nolan are my favorite directors.
I have weird obsessions with Andy Samberg, Jason Segel, Freaks & Geeks, Robert Downey Jr, Seth Rogen, Logan Lerman, Judd Appatow movies, 90’s Adam Sandler movies, pop-culture, and Mila Kunis.
That’s the best way to describe me, I hope I don’t come off as too insane.
